Dear Mr. West

I've been thinking about your actions and I do believe that you went on stage sporadically, not thinking about what Taylor would feel. With this being said, we all know - including yourself - that it was such a selfish and evil act you did.
After reading your first blog entry, I truly did not feel that your apology was quite sincere. You contradicted youself by indicating that you "GAVE [your] AWARDS TO OUTKAST WHEN THEY DESERVED IT OVER [you]" which meant that Taylor did not deserve her award and Beyonce would have won. You know what, that's your opinion. I respect your opinion but your could have gone about in another sincere way. Perhaps in the future, you would consider keeping mean actions or thoughts to yourself.
Now in terms of you being "real," I agree, you were being real but everyone does not need to know how "real" (aka an asshole) you can be.
After seeing your Jay Leno interview, I am convinced that you are truly sorry, especially when Leno asked you how your mother would have felt if she was here with you. You choked up. You couldn't answer the question. I understand how you feel, especially if you lost your mother to a mere restorative surgical procedure. And I am sure that if she was here, watching that clip, that she would feel quite embarrassed that she has a son that would do such a thing. There is no doubt she would have lectured you until you realized that your big head does not consume the world. But hey, maybe if she was here, you would not have done it. Who knows?!
I apologize for my rude manners in this letter. I am sure that you probably heard all the horrible comments that people have shared through facebook, twitter and all over the internet, television and radio stations.
As for Kelly Clarkson and what she said on her blog, you deserved it. But Ms. Clarkson, it was a little harsh.
As for your rude ways - this was definately over the top - please consider other people's feelings.
As your 99th fan (sorry I'm truly not your number 1 fan - even before this whole thing), I was very disapointed. You are a very talented man whom every kid aspires to be you. Think about how your actions have affected little kids. You are a celebrity, nonetheless.
I hope this letter helps your realize how your actions - not only this one - affects not only you but other people in the world as well.

Sincerely,
Ms. Tran

p.s - I was a big fan of your first album. Your music lately has been pumped out of the pop machine. Please make more meaningful and sincere content that just does not talk about yourself.

School's back!!!

& I'm sooo happy to be back!!!!

My first class was photography. I came in late but thank god Cheryl saved me a seat right next to the door. It's so nice to see everyone again. Along with the busy-ness of school, I also missed everyone in my class.

I truthfully think we have such a great class! Everyone is friendly to eachother and helps everyone out. However, with this being said, I know that everyone (ok, maybe just me) is still thinking of our competitive internship program in 6th semester. I want the best placement I could find. Hopefully they keep me as a full time employee after the internship =D

But I leave this quote:

Creativity is Curiosity

Labour Day Long Weekend

mmmm I had a great long weekend. I was quite a busy beeeee. Here's what I did :)

Friday - After work, Joo and I went to STC to get those dollar balloons for my lil' brother who turned a whole six years old! We then headed over to Wasabi for dinner. When the server came out with the ice cream cake and everyone sang happy birthday, b was soo shy lol he was sooo cute! hahaha
After dinner, re came to pick us up. We headed over to Wegz for Josh's birthday. I played flip cup tournament for the very first time and I got drunk! hahah I wasn't supposed to drink that night but I thought the tournament would be really fun (which it was). hahah getting drunk randomly is soo much fun! hahaah

Saturday - I brought my sisters to STC to shop for some jeans. Bluenotes has really nice jeans for only 20.00!!! I wanted to buy a pair but I figured that me having the same jeans of my younger sisters was not cool lol
After, me, rob and lil went for dinner at congee queen. We spent a while there.. It was great because I haven't seen rob and lil for a while :)
I then headed over to Dave&Busters for Prathap's farewell. He left for the states yesterday to study as a chiropractioner. Quite proud for him as he wanted to go to med school for a while now!

Sunday - I volunteered for the South Asian For Life organization. My friend's mom is suffering from leukemia and has been in and out of the hospital for nearly 2 years now. With this event, I had to supervise people for swap tests to ensure they do it correctly.
Side note - If you'd like to donate blood or perhaps under go a bone marrow donation, please let me know. About 2 hundred odd people are in waiting for you to save their life. Save a life.
After the event, I headed down to the Howard Johnson Hotel for a great night of just us girls! We had appies and infinity amounts of drinks lol By the time we were out of the hotel, we were stumbling to get into the club. Cabana was a disapointment. There was no one there at all! arrgghhh!

Monday - We had some great dim sum at pmall... (I had my tofu-fa! yaaayyy lol) I dropped everyone home, headed for the shower then went to go pick up jooyong. We went over to his place, took a nap, went out for dinner then headed to ram's for some poker/jitz/ufc.

When I woke up this morning, I was sooo excited to go to school. I can't wait to leave work now and head over to see everyone at school! yaaaayyy!

The other night, me and joo had a serious conversation. I think we will be undergoing another milestone in our life. (Please inquire within if you are curious).

Stats About Me

I found this app on fb through one of my friends' status... so with my curiosity, I tried it. This is what I found out:

According to http://www.statsaboutme.com I have 220 friends, 100 more than average. 64% are male, 36% are female. 34 are single, 56 are dating or married. If I contracted a deadly variant of flu, I would likely infect 10 people, 1 of whom would die. ...If I died today, an estimated 410 people would try to attend my funeral. Based on my Facebook profile, I have a 90% probability of getting married. I am likely to earn US$3.6 million and have 2.2 children over my lifetime.

Here are my thoughts:
- I can't believe my male friends encompasses more than half of my total friends! hahahah I guess I am very charming! lol i joke i joke!
- only 10 people eh? lol You know what, those ten people would most likely be joo, my cousin, katie, lil, re, sam, rony, ram, rico & perhaps rico... or maybe even lx because he would probably contract it from my cousin... and he gets sick pretty easily too! lol I think the person who would die would most likely be joo (knock on wood) just because he's so close to me. hahaha
- WHOA! 410 people!!!! fawk, I don't think I even know 410 people!!! ahahahahaha I think more than half of them would probably be male as well! hahahaah
- yeah, let's stop at the m.
- and yes, 3.6 mill isn't a lot for a lifetime. I would rather earn 3.6 mill a year! hahah
- and you know what, i don't understand how these stats are calculating .2 of a person? maybe miscarriage? but 2 children is likely because I do want a boy and a girl... or just two boys in general.

Changing subject...

Yesterday night, my cousin and I headed over to the sauna after our bodycombat class. We planned to be in there for only 10-15 (recommended) mins but ended up staying for an hour. After we headed out for dinner at congee queen near the gym. It took us 2 hours to leave the restaurant. For the whole night, I had such a profound and intelligent conversation with her about various things in life. This is why i love her so much! She points our perspectives and theories that I haven't even thought of yet she understands what I try to say <3 (She pointed this out before but) I feel like her relationship with her bf and exactly a mirrored version of my relationship with jooyong. Very rare, I know.

other than that, I'm posting to the world that I lost my versace sunglasses. I am truly sooo sad right now =(

Masters

One of my friend's status' today was "nervous/anxious/excited to start school next week!" She graduated from York last year and is now moving on a post graduate certificate in a college (i believe).
With this is mind, the thoughts of me getting my masters are currently emerging. To persue a higher level of education is what I think I want but not sure if I should go ahead and apply after my program at Seneca.
This morning, I was researching into master programs and here's what I found:

- Master of Design at York University
The Master of Design (MDes) program is a two-year, practice-based program that investigates cultural, social, cognitive, and technological dimensions of communication design, information design, interaction design, motion graphics and design studies within the parameters of Visual Communication/Graphic Design. It prepares graduates for careers as designers, design theorists/researchers and educators by engaging students in design practice, theory, methodology, research and management strategies.
The program provides strong supportive design studies courses which provide a foundation for doctoral studies in the rapidly developing areas of Design Research and Design Theory.
The program embraces intellectually curious students interested in experimental and investigative approach to design practice, theory and research in Visual Communication/Graphic Design.

- EMDes in Advertising at OCAD
The Executive Master of Design in Advertising (EMDes) degree is a unique, cutting-edge program available through the Ontario College of Art & Design. It is specially designed for advertising and marketing professionals who want to improve their thinking, advance their knowledge and become leaders in a rapidly changing industry. It is the only advertising executive master’s program that allows you to keep your job while you pursue an advanced degree.

- Interdisciplinary Masters in Art, Media & Design at OCAD
The Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media and Design challenges students to investigate, research and produce creative works that combine art, design and cross-disciplinary academic study to create new, hybrid forms of visual and social research and production. Each student’s primary discipline and chosen emphasis between studio practice and theoretical inquiry will determine whether the degree earned is an MFA, MDes or MA.

I know, I know what you're thinking... "heck, just go find a job and stop going back to school..." and yes, I am very eager to go to work but i'm also eager of learning something more. I felt like my 4 years at York didn't do much for me... and even thought I just finished my first semester at Seneca, I feel as though the competition of earning a decent job after graduating is increased. Heck, I'm not even worried about getting a job... I just want to learn more... learn more on a higher level other people... and learn more about what i love to do....

I am considering of applying for the Interdisciplinary program at OCAD after when I graduate because I can fully utilize my honours fine arts degree and my advanced design diploma.

Please let me know what you think about this. Am I just going through a phase or do you think I should wake up and smell the coffee?

I am terribly bored at work.
and no, I don't want to actually do work today...
My supervisor is on vacation this whole week until next Tuesday and the billing department manager is on vacation today prob to recover from his daughter's wedding... and I doubt that once he returns from his vacation tmr, he wouldn't give a poo about me doing work or not... lol I shouldn't be posting this crap here but meh, i'm sooo bored.

anyhoo.. since i'm here, I'll let you know how my weekend was :) Sorry to burst your bubble, but it was actually not as exciting as you may think:

Friday - I went to Chris' party at his girlfriend's Dana's house in Missassauga. It's a really nice house (from the outside). It's in one of those very exclusive estate neighborhoods. We were escorted to the back, to the basement... in which, I must add was very nice too! There was food and drinks provided by the hosts which made the night seem as if you're at a club :) Oh, and yes, the theme was beauty and geek lol joo had to dress up at a geek... a couple of weeks ago, we went to value village to hunt for the perfect outfit... and it was sooo incredible! :) all the guys dressed up as geeks! it was hilarious!

Saturday - After a night of drunkness, Joo & I woke up at 2pm... (I know, that was half our day gone already!)... we went to the bench and jean machine sale (thanks to my cousin :D)... I got two bench sweaters and two pairs of jeans... jooyong purchased his first pair of mavi AND buffalo jeans! I'm soo proud of him! lol just because well, I consider myself a veteran of jean machine (since JR high) and for my bf to part of this materialistic world makes me happy hahahaha
We then went out for some chakos with my siblings... which was alright... i think we're getting really bored of kbbq lately

Sunday - I really didn't do anything on Sunday. I woke up, ate, watched weeds, napped, watched weeds, ate, watched weeds, took a shower, watched weeds while getting ready, watched more weeds then went to go pick up jooyong from work lol
my family had a really big dinner that night... mmm it was good.

lol so that was my weekend!

So i've been thinking... I think my life is interesting enough to have a reality tv show. what do you think? lol

school starts in about a week! wahoooooo! I can't wait! although, i'm not looking forward to having classes everyday :(

I wish I had some mcdonald's hashbrowns and sausage mcmuffin right about now... they should consider of having their breakfast all day

i haven't uploaded my florida pics yet on fb... sorry! once i'm over my laziness, i will try to do this.. ok, actually, i promise i'll do it tonight :)

wow, this day has been hella long.. i can't wait to go home and watch more weeds... and play photo hunt! :D

*tata!

I find this pretty funny... but seriously, who would want to do that? lol

How to dump your best friend:
1. Sit down and make a list of things you don't like about your friend (even trivial things such as, "I hate her voice").
2. Return to the list after a few days and cross out things that no longer apply.
3. Give your friend a head's up that you want to talk about your friendship so she can prepare herself.
4. Rehearse what you're going to say to her so you don't over-talk.
5. Meet in person and acknowledge that the conversation will be uncomfortable.
6. Pay her a compliment to set a nicer tone.
7. Share some things from your list - but only a few.
8. Give her a chance to respond.
9. If she cries or is upset, say you're sorry she's hurt, but don't backpedal.
10. If you run into her in the future, say hi and be civil, but don't feel like you have to do more than that.
